Learn how to work with colored clay. We’ll have multiple colors of stained clay and will make patterned slabs and then form your colored slabs using molds. You’ll learn to marble colors together, create patterns, and weave colors together. Then you’ll make 1 - 2 trays, catch alls, or trinket holders with your brightly colored or pastel clay slabs. The studio has over 50 plaster hump molds to choose from. Imagine ovals, circles, and organic oblong shapes.

Pieces will be glazed and fired for student pickup in approximately 4 weeks. Students will receive email notification when pieces are complete.
